Love this reframed narrative: "You have the skills to start over. You have the tools to rebuild your life. You have the mental resilience to take on whatever obstacle you encounter."
Happy Birthday, Polina. Wishing you good health and happiness always!
I love all of your lessons, but I really resonate with creating goals just for yourself.
It's nice when you're working hard on something without needing to share or talk about it much with people. The fact that you quietly finished or succeeded can create a feeling of pride that reaches deep into your soul.
Happy birthday, Polina! I love these reflections, especially because I know they're from the heart and not a need to create "content" lol. Nos. 7 and 8 are resonating the most for me right now, but I didn't have the articulation for them until reading this. So, thank you!
7 and 8 really hit home! It's so hard to stay consistent when progress is slow. I've been at my wits' end recently. Believing that things will get better....holding the red line....I need to do more of both.
Wow! Best ever post! That's a lot of wisdom at 33. Usually, we don't see this level of life experiences, wisdom, and authority emerge until 45 or so. Oh, we see exceptional and brilliant before midlife, but this list of 11 life lessons, for you, is wonderful and rare. I appreciate the thoughtfulness and tight editing. It made a long post speed along like an action movie.
Wishing you the happiest of days as you celebrate your birth day. Thank you for sharing your 33 years of accumulated wisdom with us, a gift for us💞.
I have posted your red line image on my fridge- the last 21/2 years of my husband’s health has been challenging - he has a terminal disease but has been in remission for three years. Other serious health threats have made the maintenance of the “redline” difficult. The underlying anticipatory grief casts a shadow over survival- but the redline reassures that we have today- even as the challenging waves rock our daily lives. Thanks for sharing that tool- empowering.
Aw Kathryn, my heart goes out to you. I am so so sorry that you are dealing with the difficulties in life, and I am sure it's making you an even more resilient and beautiful person. Thank you for sharing your story, and I am sending you good wishes for a calm, peaceful life!!
As a fellow Virgo, my birthday is Friday, I enjoyed every word of your thoughtfully crafted peace. I’m going to buy not only your book, but to look at some of the others you mentioned. Many are already on my shelf, and dog eared and well thumbed. I love the depth of your reading and the range of your interests and mentors. I especially am grateful for your gratitude for the magic of goddamn luck.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CYNTHIA! Love meeting fellow Virgos! We definitely feel more than most, don't we? haha Really appreciate you reading the post today, and I hope you have your best year yet!!

Thank you so so much, Shafa!!
Hi Ms Pompliano,
I am writing to wish you a Happy Birthday this coming Saturday.
It sounds like you have a lot figured out so far.
Congratulations.
I am twice your age and still working on figuring out many things that I wonder about each day.
I figure I will run out of time before I do. LOL.
Best wishes.
haha Appreciate you, Mike! Thank you for the kind words. Just because I've learned the lesson doesn't mean I'm not constantly re-learning 🤣
Great article this week. many things resonate!
Trusting yourself is the best way to feel sure and confident.
Your 11th lesson reminded me of Marie Forleo's idea: Everything is figureoutable (https://amzn.to/47i6OR3).
Happy Birthday, Polina!

So glad this resonated, James! Thank you for the kind words!
Stellar - so many nuggets in this one. Thanks for sharing, and also added the Mountain is you to my book selection.
Loved the Half Marathon story too!
Happiest of Birthdays to you!
Thank ou so much, Daniel!!

Aw I appreciate the kind words so much, Georgia!! Definitely still learning (and re-learning)
And from now on, my new goal is to write with the pace of an action movie 🤣🤣🤣🙏
Bravo
